Three times, actually. Once in 2013, twice in 2014.

I wouldve been happy with a sequel bonus quest, Needed all weapons and yokai with the glowy mount to unlock it. Then it would be the quest or so to get RDM and SAM yokai weapon and minion.

Unlike with the Garo event where I felt inclined to look up the franchise and watch what I could (only found some enjoyment in one series), I had no interest in looking up Yokai.

This time around with the event there's nothing new, no new zones to grind within, no increase to drop rates. If it wasn't for the many things I had to watch or listen to, the Yokai event the first time around would have left me braindead with little to no chance of recovery. My apologies to everyone doing the event now during its second course.

I'm so glad I missed all three.

I'm fine with it in the end. I burned out after getting all the minions and starting on the 'last suggested' weapon first (IE doing one of the 30 medal counts). Well, yesterday afternoon after grinding it out, I got all 13 weapons at once and got the mount.

I leveled RDM 50-59 through Yokai Fates alone. x.x I forgot to even do the Job Quests.

I got:
Ninja from 41-50
Dark Knight from 31-50
Warrior from 30-42
and
Black Mage from 35-40

just from getting the medals myself... Was in a pretty good group for the last bit, so I took warrior to 50 after getting the mount. Event was overall pretty good in that respect.

Since I still need to take Monk and Black Mage to 50 though (and then 6 classes to 60), not good enough though. :-(

I somewhat hazily recall that they said Garo will last untill after SB and I am worried that it will end with patch 4.1. Leveling my two last jobs for Garo, both lvl 54 atm. I think they did not add titles for SAM and RDM, right?
