help me mining pls

how do i join the miners guild bro? i have my amateur pickaxe but they wont let me join the miners guild? im in uldah. I'm talking to Aldaberta please post thanks guys.

If it's in your inventory, simply equip it and you'll be a miner.

Then you can talk to the NPC there to begin the starter quest for it.

From there, even if you decide to tackle the quest later on, you can go out and start mining right away! (Although, it is advised to do the quest, lol)
