ITT: People forget they are playing an asian MMO
Not sure why everybody is complaining about it not being dyeable. While I understand that everything should, following the pattern of items on the mogstation this one shouldn't. Yda, Y'shtola, Thancred, Minfilia, Aymeric, Cid, Biggs, Wedge, Papalymo, the HW knights, etc. None of those outfits are dyeable. So why should Edda's?
Yay, more mogstation exclusive glamour... =/
Just glad I don't have to buy a female-only outfit to use the unisex scythes. The scythes do look pretty cool in action though.
People who play males: @&(#@*(!!! AGAIN with this crap?!
People who play females: Ha ha screw you got mine
At least you can get the weapons separate from the outfit I guess?
Ok, but why can't I wear a dress? Will the servers crash and burn and die?
Hell, Hildibrand looks hella in the Spring Dress. Why can't I wear that, too?
fyi, robes and dresses are the same thing: long piece of fabric that covers top + bottom. Just because you call one a robe and one a dress because extra frills means its FUR GURLS doesn't make it so.
One of the reason they will never see money from me in the Store, its ridiclious especilay with event items, instead of bringing them back each year and maybe put them in the store after 2-3 years instead right away as soon one year is over.
People defending this i can't understand about them "wasting resources" on a male counterpart and such, because they are lazy with events and simliar things already, which are like a 10 minute thing, event over.
And with such, instead put it where it belongs, the Dungeons or Raids or in this case Palace of the Dead to make them more interessting to run trough, which i admit i never liked PotD, its boring and tedous for me, they sohuld make better use of such. We do pay enough for subscription and retainers already, i don't see why i sohuld keep buying such aswell, i never did and never will, if they continue this way, they will loose a big playerbase, having enough of games trying to rob you despite doing well, we talk about Square Enix and not some unknown developer lifing from only one game.
SE, do yourself a favor and stop this, it does not you or the community any good. Personal opinion, if this goes dwon like it, i won't be sad leaving this game and moving on, because even some Free to Play games do this better then your Mogstation stuff.
Edit: And for god sake, could we get a update on the forum with this sign limitation on posting. It's outdated, aslong you not want us writing in leet language or so with everything shortened down or some of that.
They have been doing this for three years and it hasn't impacted the playerbase. Why would it suddenly do so now? Complaining about them putting stuff on the Mogstation is an old hat. They aren't going to stop because it's proven a lucrative alternative as every new item seems to guarantee huge sells if the sea of people wearing them is anything to go by. If it bothers, I suggest picking up another game. And I don't say that out of any malice or what have you. Just that they aren't going to change their practices when it's working. So...

No, they aren't lazy with events (>_<)
Personally, more than saying that it's a "waste of resources", I'll rather say that it simply isn't a big deal. This is an NPC outfit, and this NPC happened to be a female. When they released Aymeric or Cid outfits, they didn't need to create a female counterpart. They just released the clothes as they were: outfits from certain male NPCs. That time it was male, this time it's female, and the day they release, say, Hien, it'll be male again. It's not any sort of conspiracy, it's not about laziness, and by no means is it a big tragedy, as there is no shortage of sets to wear ingame.
I don't know how people can ever be happy, if they get easily and deeply offended at every minute thing that happens @_@;
