We are definitely not against more in general for everyone - It's mostly the opposite in these cases.
But when people get all passive-aggressive that a gender-locked thing comes out, then there's no wonder SE sticks to what the majority likes.
Why let my feedback go under the rug? When Aymeric's outfit was revealed to be male only, there were tons of females posting for it to be made gender neutral. Was it ok to complain on the forums then? If people don't say anything on the forums or at cons, HOW will SE know that people who play male characters are annoyed when they get nothing? It's not a excuse, It's a fact. I have no doubt they will put out more male glamours, but people have this tendency to whine every single time a female glamour is put out about how their is no male equivalent, seriously just stop. You don't understand the basics of supply and demand, female cosmetics will always be in the majority because they are more popular and always will be.
ITT: People forget they are playing an asian MMO
"We want more for everyone, but you'll have to suck it up and accept having less anyway.
When SE gets negative feedback, it's no wonder that they continue doing the thing that produces negative feedback."
Uh, what?
On topic: I actually didn't care that much for this outfit anyway (except the hat/eyepatch which I think is pretty nice), although it really gives me some nostalgic vibes of my scythe Evie days in Vindictus. Unfortunate that it's not dyeable for those who were asking for it, though.
Not sure why everybody is complaining about it not being dyeable. While I understand that everything should, following the pattern of items on the mogstation this one shouldn't. Yda, Y'shtola, Thancred, Minfilia, Aymeric, Cid, Biggs, Wedge, Papalymo, the HW knights, etc. None of those outfits are dyeable. So why should Edda's?
Yay, more mogstation exclusive glamour... =/
Just glad I don't have to buy a female-only outfit to use the unisex scythes. The scythes do look pretty cool in action though.
People who play males: @&(#@*(!!! AGAIN with this crap?!
People who play females: Ha ha screw you got mine
At least you can get the weapons separate from the outfit I guess?
Hello, new time poster.
I sincerely love Edda's outfit. I think a male version would look amazing too. Just like, not a dress but an actual, fully flushed out outfit that's unique but still maintains Edda's style to it. Though I highly doubt SC would make one anyway.
A part of me wants to take on a challenge of making a male version just for fun.
But as someone else said already, the chances of things being changed are fairly low. Gender-lock outfits probably won't go away anytime soon.
I mostly got Aymeric's outfit for the haircut, though it is a little annoying that you can't dye the armor itself.
If you need some other points where you can attempt to get your voice through, then I would recommend to visit reddit frequently and see if there are any journalists that have a upcoming interview with developers and go ask your question/feedback in that thread. The other might be the live letter questionare, but best you have some backup for this to put some weight into those likes, which may consider those guys to bring up that topic on stream. If you need help, hell yeah, I add my votes and likes to the pile in order to get it addressed.
I get some serious Castlevania Count Dracula vibe from it, which may have been a interesting choice.
