Ooh I thought that was just new window fixtures. I would love if they had a lighted pictures frame that looked like a window so we could add some views to it, but just having windows we can add inside is a start!
So I just went through the patch notes again to see if I missed anything and I saw something that might be potentially disturbing.
The following optional items are now available for purchase from the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station:
- Gold Leaf Interior Wall
- Gold Leaf Flooring
Granted that Halloween is just around the corner and this might (unlikely) be the kupo store-version of it, otherwise this is probably the first non-merchandise bonus kupo store-exclusive housing item. Adding onto the fact that it's a consumable and the new blank partition, it's downright pardon my language, disgusting.
I think the next question is if we are able to place it on top of the normal windows.

There are the items with special effects too. With glamour, mounts, etc already having cash shop exclusives though it was only a matter of time before housing got something from scratch.Granted that Halloween is just around the corner and this might (unlikely) be the kupo store-version of it, otherwise this is probably the first non-merchandise bonus kupo store-exclusive housing item. Dusty, I don't think this was touched on, but do you recall them ever talking about what will happened to the furniture in the storage if you relinquish your apartment? I was thinking of moving my apartment to Shirogane but I'm worried about what will happen to the stuff in there.
There was no mention of what happens to items in storage if you relinquish your home/apartment, but since it's likely tied to the property itself I would collect anything you can beforehand. If you plan on removing the apartment on patch day, then move any items that would be destroyed on pickup to storage and hope for the best, but know they'll probably need replacing.Dusty, I don't think this was touched on, but do you recall them ever talking about what will happened to the furniture in the storage if you relinquish your apartment? Guess we draw the same conclusion, rip... Gonna need to make space for 100 slots T-TThere was no mention of what happens to items in storage if you relinquish your home/apartment, but since it's likely tied to the property itself I would collect anything you can beforehand. Off-topic, I saw your PSA garden post on reddit, you even given credit to the rightful owner! Such a good popoto! XD /pet pet
The other 3 cities each have multiple versions of exteriors to pick from. I haven't seen any posts about them so i tried to grab some from the trailer.
2 Walls.
2 Large houses.
1 medium house with 2 views.
1 Small house.
Also as a bonus I noticed what could be an armor mannequin.

I'm usually against large houses since the item density is too low for my taste, but those roof are pretty awesome!
