Elemental/JP servers lagging?

Hello All,

My friends and I are having lag issues with lag in Tonberry Server. Some players from different regions/countries are experiencing this as well.

I did a ping for the Elemental server (124.150.157.158) vs an NA (204.2.229.9) and the JP server is experiencing pocket lost while the NA server runs smoothly.

Does every one having the same issue?

My pings to Elemental is pretty okayish for its location. 0% Packetloss over 12 pings. You might want to try a tracert and see where it might be having issues at. (Granted the pings are over 100ms so...)

It's most likely because of a broken undersea internet cable that feeds most internet traffic from South East Asia to Europe and Australia, apparently the damage won't be fixed til October sometime, and Australian internet users are being stated as especially affected by it. Sadly there isn't much you can do except maybe transfer to a NA server?

Ah, well ya. That would certainly do it. As I'm NA based, I guess my link to that end is stable. I have to wonder what it takes to damage (and repair) one of those lines. Oo Well I hope they repair it then. Must suck for your guys. ; ;

It was worse for me yesterday (QLD), seems a little improved today. Guess we will have to ride it out, cant really help it.

Been shit since Tuesday with half packet losses when I ping. I sucks.

Can confirm. I'm in Adelaide, Australia, and I've been having pretty bad lag for three or four days now. The lag fluctuates in severity.

Hmmm, I'm in Primal Datacenter on Excalibur. My issue started after the 4.06a patch though, but maybe the timing was a coincidence? I play from Europe, I don't know if this undersea cable problem is what's causing my lag spikes throughout the day.

I've tried a lot of things to resolve the issue, as you do. But nothing has helped thus far.
