Just some clarity on just how challenging it would be to use a few skills

Hello Everyone. A returning player here and returning to Paladin. My question involves using "Divine veil, Intervention and Passage of arms." I want to be a "good" paladin not a "meh" one if I can help it. Just when do i use these 3 skills? Together, to save the party from oncoming damage or a mess up in dps/possibly wipe aoe? Or just throw them out when it seems good. I know rampart or sentinel can be used with Intervention to really lighten the big hits(can they both be used at same time . And passage of arms is amazing. So is cover for the healer.

But how do i use these effectively for the greatest success. I heard a good Pali can save a party from a mess up if he pops: 'cover' for healer, 'divine veil' for entire party, 'intervention' for entire party with a large oncoming aoe and 'passage of arms' for insurance at the same time. Is this possible at the same time when seconds are counting down and you have to press a lot of buttons?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It's possible, but to be honest, I'm fairly certain they mean that in individual cases, not generic ones.

Cover saves healers who pull aggro during pulls. Cover can also be utilized to take a Tank Buster for your co-tank at reduced damage (-20%, a built in rampart).

Intervention allows a paladin to provide some support to Co-tanks, but is fairly meaningless to other party members. 10% isn't likely to save someone, and using your own CDs for a squishy is what Cover is for.

Divine Veil is fantastic for adding another layer of protection on party wide AoEs.

Passage of Arms in a similar vein can take the edge off said party wide AoEs as well, but you have to time it well to not spend all your time turning into a Magical Girl.

Cover is rather situational...yes can use to save a healer from damage or use on dps that has taken aggro but its rather rare.

Passage of arms is good to use prior to raid wide damage (like susano's ukehi and lakshmi's strotam) but yeah it stops u from auto attacking.

Divine veil - see passage of arms. This is good to provide a raid wide stoneskin prior to raid wide damage. its better now that clemency is such a short cast and can jusr continue attacking (unlike passage of arms).

Intervention - only used on th main tank when a tank buster is imminent. Its not that useful elsewhere.
