FFXIV Dad of Light Show

So, the series is finally out on netflix!

That being said,
Has anyone watched it yet?
If not, are you willing to give it a shot?
If so, are you enjoying it so far or no?
And what are your thoughts about it so far?
(No spoilers pls)

So far, to me, it's pretty cheesy yet funny at times (especially in game) and also filled with some good hearty moments as well. Also the fact that their in-game characters have voices makes me jelly too.

As of yet I haven't watched all of it, but I'm willing to give the series a fair shot and watch it all the way through

I'm enjoying it so far. I can see how it's "cheesy" but I like the humor I've seen. X)

Kinda feels like one of those animes centered around an MMORPG, only with the plus of being an MMO I play

Well, I'm absolutely not a fan of drama, but I must say that so far I'm really enjoying this one.
It's probably a bit naive and cliché but that's kind of give its charm and I'm really having some good laugh and the episodes fly by so fast.

Got also some nostalgia of when I was a beginner too, though not as much as Indy
I wonder on the other hand if someone that has never play FFXIV would enjoy this?

I'm liking it so far; I had to stop at Episode 4 because for some reason the audio is messed up.
I did laugh a few times at certain moments and seeing the game made me reminisce the times when I first joined FFXIV. Also, seeing the characters talk make me wish that my character can talk; sadly she's a mute lol

Overall, watching Dad of Light makes me feel soo proud to be part of Eorzea. ^^

yeah watching it on the ps4 netflix app episode 4 plays the episode 5 video. i had to watch ep 4 on the ipad app to view it properly =p

I want to watch it, but the series was not released for Netflix Australia. Not a big surprise there, since everything is either late or non-existent in Australia when it comes to FFXIV related items.

NOTE: A few hours after my post, the series popped in at Netflix Australia. I'm watching episode 1 now.

Oh, I figured womething was wrong when the audio didn't match the scene at all; guess I'll have to see in on tha laptop later. So far I'm liking it, there's some inconsistencies between what version they're playing (at first I thought 2.0 but then I thought a MNK action was from 3.0) but I'm just suspending my disbelief for the story lol
