Pet Hotbar and Cross Hotbar Frustrations

Hello! I wanted to make a thread to talk about some frustrations I had with the Cross Hotbar, and more specifically, how the Pet Hotbar interacts with it. Comments and suggestions are appreciated!
The Pet Hotbar on Gamepad is only accessible through a tap of the right bumper. The Pet Hotbar cannot be bound to either half of the W Cross Hotbar, nor to the Expanded Hold Hotbar. With this in mind, the Pet Hotbar feels poorly integrated into the Cross-Hotbar, which makes binding actions that suit what is comfortable to me very difficult if not impossible. The lack of customization in the Pet Hotbar alone, outside of its interaction with the Cross Hotbar creates even more of an issue in accessibility for me. I can understand not being allowed to add/remove actions to/from the Hotbar, but not being able to move the actions seems excessive. Has anyone else felt similarly? Please keep in mind that this is not intended to be a discussion on keyboard vs. gamepad. Thank you.

I also have some of my own suggestions for solutions. I make no claims that these are "easy fixes" due to my limited programming knowledge:
    1. Make the Pet-Hotbar, if not editable, adjustable. (Allow for re-arrangement of actions.)
    2. 4.x introduced Job Actions that swapped between different abilities depending on Job-Specific stances or level-based upgrades. Making Pet Spells that automatically swap depending on the Pet currently deployed (Rock Buster on Titan-Egi changing to Burning Strike on Ifrit-Egi, etc.) would minimize the number of spaces on a hotbar dedicated to Pet Actions.
    3. Allow for the binding of either half of the Pet-Hotbar on either the W Cross-Hotbar or the Expanded Hold Hotbar.

Turn off the pet bar and put the pet abilities on your normal bars. They are available from the pet section of the Actions window.

You can (should) even macro your Summon spells to rewrite your hotbar slots to the abilities that correspond to the new pet.

    For details, type this:

I gave your suggestion a shot, and while it was a bit of trial and error (since I've never really messed with macros before haha) I think this will work for me! I would still like to see my suggestions implemented in an official manner someday, but for the time being I definitely think this'll do. Thank you very much!

For sure, it would be really great if they made the four pet attack buttons change to the corresponding attacks for the current pet, but until they decide to do that, you'll prolly find this workaround way more convenient than the raw pet bar.
