I remember hearing something about changing Labyrinth of the Ancients to use 3 tanks instead of 6 for the purpose of the roulette. Takes time to flesh out that change?Raid Roulette in 4.1 is fine but that also means 4-5 months of dead ques since 4.0. Why not introduce it earlier? In 4.0? 4.01? 4.05?
I'm also disappointed they made The Wolrd of Darkness gear craftable, it devalued anything exclusive that was left in that raid. They'll probably do the same with gear from other raids too. So basically TT card and minion is the only reason to do these raids after first clear.




Yeah, I remember an interview of them planning to make adjustments to LotA so it can easily be done with 3 tanks, since the only part that really needs 6 tanks is the Atomos Section.


Both of you are using the player defined version of the word "content", the dungeons, raids, trials etc. that you run.
The person you're quoting is talking about the developer version of it, which is anything that requires development time. And yes, digging through tons of code (some of likely from 1.0 still) does take development time.
Even the Atomos section can be done with 3 tanks, since the Atomos itself doesn't need to be tanked, just the adds that it spawns.


You take a ready code from Trials Roulette and copy it. You replace all trials instance IDs with 6 raids instance IDs. Rename second copy to Raid Roulette. The entire purpose of having them in Wonderous Tails is to get people to queue. If they remove them the situation will become even worse.I do not know what it is like on other servers but on Hyperion it is impossible to get 1 of the Alliance Raids (ARR) through the Duty Finder. The Heavensward raids are not much better. Yet these raids are still part of Wondrous Tails. While I understand that the team wants to jin up interest these older content it does not appear to be working. Respectfully recommend to the Dev Team that they review the feasibility of their continued use in the rotation for things like Tails.

I think the issue is that the 24 man in the book varies person to person, and queues take so long you're better off ignoring that entry. Maybe they could make it so the 24 man slot is the same for everyone and changes each week - then at least everyone will need the same 24 man raid and queues will be faster.

This is pretty much what needs to done with Frontline PvP. Right now it's more or less impossible to get a Seal Rock (Seize) or Borderland Ruins (Secure) match going. It has been Field of Glory (Shatter) since 3.4 for the majority of the time. Want that Field Commander armor set? On topic though, an Alliance Raid roulette is more than welcomed. Have 40 creation tomestones and Adventurer in Need bonus as daily rewards and I'll gladly do it.


Cannot get much worse then it is right now. You cannot get 24 people to do those raids. Just the other day I queued up for World of Darkness. After about an hour of waiting I fell asleep. When I woke up 6 hours later I was still queued up with little movement in numbers
I wish they'd just let us go into them undersized and unsynced.


with the 8 man raids a easy way i can think to do it is a Roulette, remove the exp from mobs, and you can only get the bonus from completing but if you leave you lose the bonus, and if vote dismised 3 tmes, you lose that bonus, (trying to stop people from abusing this would be difficult) the bonus being a major EXP boost and gold for leveling. at level 70 it grants 30 tonestones of creation, once a day.
as a way to avoid people crying about the levels make it to where the roulet matches up the 8 people and unsync them, so they go in as the level they want,
this could help do old raid content.
