i have the Royal Seneschal Set and need to changed it to the song brid set as i used a fantasia. i raided a ticket and was told nothing could but done and to submit a suggestion on the forum. could this be added to the calamity salvager

Suggestion: Next time they offer something like that, do what I did, and just get one female set and one male set. The vendor for that event had the other set for sale, quite cheap.. about 1k gil each. Sadly, I doubt SE can do anything for you here, as sex change doesn't change sex specific gear over. I did once on an alt, and had to buy the set for the opposite sex. Sometimes you have to think in advance to plan for that very eventuality.

A great deal of gender specific gear (if it has a corresponding piece for the opposite gender) is tradeable for its counterpart through the Calamity Savager. Most event gear is included there, but these specific sets seem to be missing from that list. It should be a simple enough matter for SE to add them.
(But yes, buying both when possible is generally a good idea to protect against cases like this.)

Go to the recompense officer next to the calamity salvager, you can buy both male and female versions of this set for 1000 gil per piece

Sadly, you'll most likely have to wait until the Little Ladies Day event comes around next spring and buy it off mogstation if it's not available at any of the salvager npc's. They did offer the Royal Seneschal set alongside the Songbird set with no restrictions as to what gender could get what. I've got both sets on each character that I did the event on and I think that would be your best bet for the next event that offers both sets to everyone - go ahead and get both and store them in the armoire, whether or not you can see yourself using them in the future at that time.
