Question for the OST Fans...

There is a theme you hear when you ride the falcon porters in Stormblood areas (takes place of the traditional chocobo porters). Can anyone tell me the name of that theme and is it possible to get your own personal version of that exact mount? If you haven't heard the theme yet I highly encourage you to grab a falcon porter and find the longest destination you can travel to hear it

Music wise, that is a new track that is not yet available out of the game (or even on the Orchestrion in game sadly), so it's actual track title won't be officially known until the Stormblood OST album is officially released (when that will be is anyone's guess).

As for the falcon as a mount, players do get a white version as a personal mount during SB's main scenario, so keep playing (although alas it merely plays Borderless, the default HW flying mount theme instead of that new theme the falcons have sadly).

I thought the falcon porters were just a recoloured version of the HW EX primal birds? Or, well, not recoloured, but it's the same model, except without the glowing bits. I'll have to take a closer look later.

The travel falcons are plain reskins of the primal lanners.

I made a thread a while back requesting it as a story or sidequest mount but there didn't seem to be too much enthusiasm. Most people just said "go get a primal lanner."


Yeah...I have those. There are people who want the pretty non glowing brown version.

Do you have a link to the thread in question? I'll happily voice my support - I'd like one too. As a role-player, especially, it'd be great to have something that is fairly 'plain' but also isn't just another chocobo.

I'd also root for getting the ordinary horses that are present in the Azim steppes. It'd be nice to have a few more mundane mounts next to the robots, demons, and fantastical creatures we ride otherwise.

I do have that mount on one of my alts that I decided to take to 70 first, so it's holding me over for the time being lol. I hope they make the falcon available someday with the matching theme. I want to afk on it..
