What is the correct etiquette to start EX primals and savage?

Hello, I'm a fresh 70 sitting at around 317iL main DRK. I'm trying to get into the next tier of progression with the EX primals and Omega Savage but I'm not sure of the best approach.

My main problem is to get the first time clear because the RF never has enough people and PF never accepts first timers. Should I queue for Practice or Duty Completion in RF? What is the community accepted approach?

    Thanks in advance!

"Duty Completion" generally comes with the expectation that you have mastered all of the fight's mechanics through firsthand knowledge already. You may find greater success advertising via party finder. You're likely not alone in being frustrated at the lack of suitable parties available, so make your own ad and honestly describe your level of experience and the type of people you seek.

Since you're on Elemental the best approach would be to watch a few YouTube fights for extremes (they're really easy this tier) and going through Raid Finder. The majority of parties will understand and accept a few wipes.

Just to be clear, it doesnt matter if you choose "duty completition" or "practice" on DF, it still mixes everyone.

I recommend either queueing for "practice first phase" in Raid finder or make/join a "practice" Party Finder group (make sure to read the description so you know the party requirements when joining someone else's party, or write what you expect from others if you create your own) to start with. In general, it's expected that you're familiar with the fight (have seen a guide) before joining a party finder or queueing for raid finder (unless specified that it's a blind run). After you've seen and practiced all phases, join or create a clear party in party finder. Good luck!

Thank you for all your replies, I've watched the guides a few times already in preparation and these are some good advice. I think I'll stick to creating a PF so it is easier to set expectations for the group. Thanks!

It does not mix everyone regardless of what is selected. For anything with weekly rewards (at present, the Deltascape savage raids), Duty Completion is only available for those that have yet to claim their weekly rewards.

I know the frustration all too well. Raid finder set to practice may be the best bet though you said there is never enough players.
It is rather true that most people tend to skip say "learning" parties and rather go for farm parties and the like.
Some helpful people do exist, just harder to find
