The rising 2017 - Discrimination

Okay we all love the in game events and thankfully a lot of us can participate in these said in game events - However The Rising 2017 has a stage where you need to pick a password out of jumbled up letters - Can someone please tell me how people who have Dyslexia can do this please, ill make it short and sweet - they can not

Dyslexia is a disability which involves letters - many people suffer from it - I would love to know what Square Enix was thinking when they did this - i mean they basically excluded everyone who suffers with Dyslexia from this event - i mean i cant do this.

I would love to know what they are going to do about this to now level the scales for people who have dyslexia.

I am really disgusted with this to be honest its really bad that a company such as Square enix is making this kind of mistake.

Just go ask for help if you can't solve it.
That's what I did after nearly spending an hour trying to figure out the puzzle.

Ren's got the right attitude. And not everyone who suffers from dyslexia is barred from this event; yes the letters are jumbled but everything you need to solve the puzzle is given to you: the order in which the letters go in is on the first floor, the letters are on the second floor.

If this of all things disgusts you, what will you do when something actually disgusting crosses your path?

There exist several different versions of the puzzle with different solutions. So that it was obvious to you does not mean it is obvious to everyone.

The fact that you are all saying it is easy just means you haven't got Dyslexia or Dyscalculia - good for you, And yes this does annoy and disgust me I do not ever recall SE having an event which uses Letters or Numbers like this in the past and for good reason because it does leave people with Dyslexia or Dyscalculia or both in a very tricky situation and it is not fair that we are put in that situation in the first place. Why should I and others who have the same condition as me be put in this situation where our disability is made apparent.

This event yes many people may enjoy it but the issue here is it is causing issues for people who have Dyslexia or Dyscalculia it really just needed to be thought out a lot more than it has been in my opinion and seeing as i have Dyslexia and Dyscalculia I am disgusted by the lack of thought that went in to this event - i guess you have to have the conditions that i have talked about to know the feeling.

Here's how to solve;

Find the locations of the numbers.
Take a picture or memorise the locations.
Go to the second level, and find the location of the letters.
Overlay the locations of the numbers with the location of the letters. Find the word by using the numbers as the order in which to use the letters.

Okay thank you i will try that now - think ill take a pic of the both floors and then do it with more time - at the moment just slightly annoyed at the lack of though towards people with Dyslexia or Dyscalculia - but yeah i will do my best on this event - ill just have to do it another way. I will probably end up doing what you say taking photos and overlapping them - or after a few more hours of trying, actually asking someone for help - but that is a last resort.

I was actually told to come on here by the GM and voice my opinion because i asked a GM about it who was actually quite understanding, i just really don't want this sort of thing to be included in a future event, because it really is nightmarish for people with this sort of disability - its not as if it isn't a common disability either. I just really do not want this sort of thing in a future event.

Anyway thank you for your suggestion - i will try it out.

I'm sorry but... this isn't discrimination, and it's not a mistake, it's a puzzle, I didn't look at the letters and try to figure out what word it could be, I checked in the dungeon which letter overlapped with what number and wrote those down, and BAM there was the answer.

It's a puzzle, don't make it an issue...
