switching GC and squadron missions

i switched GC and tried to get 1st lt rank by completing squadron mission. my squad already max lv from previous GC. the game says i have a special mission to get promotion. I assume it is the last mission. I completed it and got no promotion why

Did you reached 2nd lt rank before doing the mission?

I think the promotion mission is not on the last page but the one before it and is listed as special

if you switch GC's you must work your way up to 2nd lt and then when you can access your squadrons again you need to do the special level 40 mission again so you can unlock 1st lt.

i did that mission. it did nothing

you must have failed it then. you must have all 3 stats green in order to pass the level 40 special mission. I looked up your lodestone you are still only 2nd Lt.

Don't you also have to talk to the guy outside the squad room regarding the promotion if you passed it? It's been a while since I changed from Mael to Flames, so can't remember exactly.

how it goes is you do the level 40 special mission. when they come back and you've passed it there should be a message from the NPC saying there's another message and you should go into a cutscene saying you acheived 1st lt. rank.
