    Crippling Latency

I went to the Fringes to harvest and found myself in an unpleasant situation where it took over 15 seconds (legit seconds) per swing to harvest, I couldn't exit out when everything was locked up, and the monsters are rubberbanding around.

I had initially thought it to be on my end, but then I came to find that the latency is affecting people by various degrees.

The timing coincides with the recent maintenance. I'm wondering if, by trying to fix something, it caused something else to break.

Me too internet works fine for everything except ffxiv.

Although I had what you described the first 10 mins of any instance I joined. But after that it clears up until the next instance

My raiding had to be cancelled early tonight because several members were complaining of lag and latency issues, we barely scraped through O2 and didn't even bother attempting O3. Fix it SE.

I seem to be having latency issues as well today. At least a couple others on the server seem to be saying as much as well. For what it's worth I've seemed to track down exactly where the issue is, but I suspect it might not be an SE issue. It appears, at least for me, a network hop in Ashburn, VA is giving me from 15%-25% packet loss with varying loses from each hop there until the data center. If you're on PC, I would suggest opening up Command Prompt and doing "pathping 204.2.229.9" and posting your results. Since we're both on Aether I'd be interested to see if you're going through the same node. Here's my results from earlier showing the mass packet losses after that node.

Its happening me now on every leve I do. It ether disconnects me in middle of one or see huge lag spikes that cause game to freeze up for 15 seconds. when check my latency it goes from 30 to 170 when start a leve. they need to reimburse players leve's they loose.
