Thread: Day one player returning after 3.5 years

Just wanted to say hello to the community! I was a beta/day one player that stopped playing shortly after Titan HM was released. I have no clue why I stopped because I fell inlove with this game instantly. I decided to give it another go the other day and man am I hooked. Really love all the changes I started noticing right away, specifically the fact you don't need to level alt jobs for skills anymore.

I hopped on my main but was overwhelmed from 3.5 years of content pop ups, so decided to roll a Paladin and main a diff char. I'm brand new to tanking but did my first dungeon yesterday and really had a great and supportive group.

I'm glad to see the community is helpful and patient because it was quite toxic at first, but I guess you have that in any game.

I'm having a blast getting reacquainted with Eorzea and its inhabitants. Any tips I should be aware of or anything like that?

Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone and tell you that I missed you <3

If you haven't already, one thing you should unlock for quick leveling is the Challenge log which the quest is found in the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa. It gives good weekly XP bonuses.

Unlocked it yesterday before they shut 'er down actually! Thanks for the tip
