Error and crash every few minutes after new patch

I'm getting this error every few minutes and game crashes, game was working properly before patch. Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi Cetek,

Sorry but it looks like you have been hit by the DirectX errors plaguing the game for a while now with a sharp uptake since Stormblood was released.
I have seen errors like this in between the "Fatal DirectX Error 11000002", so I believe them to be related - unfortunately there is no good official response from SE on this yet.
The threads on this issue (i.e. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...n-Nvidia-cards) contain some workarounds that have helped some people, sadly the only fix will be SE actually patching this bug.

I raised a ticket with them and was told that their developers "were aware of this issue" and "working on a fix" and that it would be published on the forums and website.
As for this, I haven't seen a single post from an SE employee acknowledging the issue here, let alone offering a solution.

The only way I can work around the issue myself was to put in my old GTX 780 GPU, which has stopped the crashes right away. As other people have reported crashes like these with this card as well though, I cannot promise it would help you, even if you had an older GPU lying around.

Sorry for being the bearer of bad news here, it seems all we can hope is that SE eventually realizes that not even acknowledging this bug, let alone fixing it, will cost them subscribers.

It's not so bad because after installing new drivers and disabling game mode game was working fine for more than 2 hours without any problems. It means that it's very random, it can work fine for month, then crash few times and work good again.

If more people have it it's not so bad because it means my pc is not broken.

I have Ryzen and GTX 970, i think combination of these 2 is not very good for this game.
