L2 PS4 controller issue

I do not. I mean it would be quite a thing to go buy a controller to see if it does the same thing. And it doesn't happen on any other game. It only happens for FFXIV. I have heard of others experiencing the same issue.

It's often a sensitivity thing. The ps4 controller buttons are all analogue input. And various games are designed to recognise it as a button press at different points. So some games it might work fine others you'll have issues.

Friend ahead a similar issue with the r2 and l2 buttons on his controller. Worked fine in most of his games except racing ones where he found he could never get full throttle by pressing the r2 button fully or brake properly with l2. But in shooters they would aim and fire his weapons just fine as a trigger. Except one game where a half press was a single shot semi automatic. And full press was automatic fire

We swapped controllers and I had the exact same issues it worked fine on most games but when driving games or something the r2 button never worked properly. Swapped back and he went and bought a new controller
