One minor nitpick: Delirium isn't locked behind Grit, and I wouldn't use it on BP either way. Unless the DPS are pants-on-head bad most things are gonna die in one BP activation + dropping grit and popping BW to clean up the remainder.Even excluding IR hexadecimate, can you name a tank with better AoE capability? You can't! DRK's limited by grit in order to use BP and delirium, and the most PLD can achieve is FoF with their own eclipse spam which is still considerably weaker since it doesn't benefit from sword oath's bonus, and FoF is all they get.
WAR will always have eye+zerk for their OP spam, along with at least one decimate/steel cyclone, and of course you can always use more than one gauge AoE. But that alone is enough to make WAR that great, especially when you consider their mitigation is on par with every other tank.
That said, now that Quietus has Blood Weapon baked in(mp restore on hit regardless of grit) I'd say DRK still has the edge overall vs WAR in practicality. Bubble pops and quietus spam bring back HW style MP overflow and even with the nerfs to DA-AD, a 1.2-1.5k heal per target per GCD is significant until >3 mobs.

DRK is anything but practical when it comes to trash pulls. The convoluted process to get mana for AD spam is beyond stupid. Nor is it as strong, even if you're DA'ing every single quietus, because while darkside and storm's eye may be the same thing, WAR's got zerk and a 5% bonus from deliverance, and let's be real, you're going to be sitting in grit for the majority of a pull. One minor nitpick: Delirium isn't locked behind Grit, and I wouldn't use it on BP either way. ^The difference is the healer won't need to heal the DRK at all due to abyssal while the WAR would be dropping like a fly.

Nah. Abyssal Drain only heals if it's Dark Arts'd. And it doesn't gain any power from doing so while costing that much more MP. It's better to spam Abyssal Drain and use that extra mana on more Abyssal Drain or, if you must, TBN.
