Thread: Regarding patch 4.1 By Yoshida

Cool to hear about upgrade items for both Lost Allagan and Job Gear. I wonder if the Job Gear will only get bumped up from 290 to 300? Probably. I'll be glad to have it dyable, but I really wonder why they wouldn't implement such a thing at launch? Seems like an oversight.

Besides that, glad to hear about further inventory expansion, but what I'm really curious is what is meant by "More? Glamours in progress now". Are they just talking about adding in more glamour gear, or could it actually be referring to changes to the system mentioned in the previous PLL?

I doubt they'd tell us everything about patch 4.1, but there's most likely MSQ in the patch and shirogane, glamour items, ect...

Pretty sure this could be in 4.15, 4.16, 4.17, 4.18 or 4.19. Anything before the release of 4.2, as the last thing they mentioned about it was the fact that it'd be made available at some point in 4.1.

Unless you have a source that states otherwise.

Could just be some new quests. I thought the later was in response to using them to complete dungeons with. People were asking about dungeon help. But that isn't the only update they can get. It could also just be npcs with SB glamours.

Re: the GC stuff and housing, yeah both have been confirmed for 4.1 in various publications, interviews... but you're right they are often ambiguous with these things and Yoshida's 4.1 could also mean splintered off to one of the smaller patches like 4.11 or a 4.1 part 2 which is really a 4.15.
PvP is on the list of contents confirmed over and over for 4.1 but I would not be surprised if that's in a smaller 4.1x patch as pvp often is. Taking squadrons into dungeons was confirmed to have slipped from 4.0 to 4.1 but it's been quite a while since last mentioned and everything is subject to change. But yeah my list is all the things yoshida said at some point is 4.1.
