Please no. Not everyone is trying to rush to cap. I like the solo speed exactly where it is, if not slower.Soloing is really tedious in XIV, its almost as bad as XI. Soloing is not a viable option to level, and needs a huge overhaul.
There are times when im soloing, and hope someone invites me to a party, because group play is a million times easier, and faster. Yes, group play should be better, but the gap is too huge. It shouldnt be that way, this game needs to be accessible, and thats an area it needs work in.
I feel bad for players that only have time to solo. SE FIX SOLOING, THIS IS NOT FFXI-2.
I also agree that grouping should be more lucrative than soloing anyway.
I agree. There are some periods when I only have time to solo and it sucks pretty hard the higher you get. The exp doesn't need to be as good as group exp ofcourse but it does neet to be better. It seems like it got even lower this update.Soloing is really tedious in XIV, its almost as bad as XI. Soloing is not a viable option to level, and needs a huge overhaul.

Are you guys serious? Solo EXP is already PRETTY DAMN FAST with leves and guardian's aspect. What do you want? For it to be as fast as a group EXP party? Lv50 in a day since a week is way too long?
Don't convince the devs to baby this game up to cater to your 20 minutes of playtime per day please. You can complain about EXP rates in 2004 FFXI but definitely not in this game. It's easy enough as it is.
Soloing options exist in all MMOs and should also exist here.
MMOs are almost exclussively designed with endgame partying in mind, not random 1 mob at a time field mobs.
I support AOE abilities, links and solo chaining.
15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?

Paragon's Crown ftw!
It's not because soloing is too slow. I think the speed is ok for solo play. But the speed for party play is way too fast. Because the turbo-speed party play the solo play feel like too slow.Soloing is really tedious in XIV, its almost as bad as XI. Soloing is not a viable option to level, and needs a huge overhaul.

If they slow down party exp speed then they'll slow down solo exp speed even more.
I don't see how soloing is a problem can get 1-20 solo in mere hours. If anything they need to just make leves more fun like escort missions and other things but i just think leves are daily fodder quest which gives you good exp if you waste your time on them.
