I know before I mentioned adding more things for player immersion, and other people said they rather focus on dungeons etc, one time things which you have to grind. ( Which I still don't understand, I'd personally rather have something you could interact with more that you can keep yourself interested in the game while you wait for the next content, but I digress.) So I thought up another concept while being at the Ul'dah Inn, while looking at the gaping hole at the center of the Inn's lobby. " What if they had a centerpiece at each inn that focused on the concept of time and changed throughout the day?" For example, a giant ornate hourglass in Ul'dah's Inn to represent the old saying " time equals money" to fill up the giant gaping hole. Since Ul'dah focuses on the concept of wealth. When you're bored, you could just gaze at the animated bits of sand falling inside it, then watch it turn itself as it resets for the next day in Eorzea time.

In Gridania, they could have a magicked tree at their inn in the center, that goes through a hole on the second floor that starts on the bottom floor, that gradually grows into a giant beautiful tree throughout the day, then dies and withers back at the end of the day before resetting and growing again. Since in Gridania, they respect the elementals and life, so this would be a fitting symbol.

As for Limsa Lominsa, I was thinking of having an animated lighthouse in the center of their inn that lights up at night with different colors each day, to symbolize their saying of "the sea swallows all" so the lighthouse would stand as both a warning and a guide to this concept. I couldn't find as easy a meaning with Limsa, so sorry for the vague concept.

Ishgard, I'm still not entirely certain. I was thinking of maybe one of their religious figures as a statue at their inn, but for them I feel a centerpiece would be awkward given the backstory and location.

So what do you guys think? If you have any suggestions of your own, feel free to comment.
