You could try like me and go for every U/U piece in the game.
Roaming mid and high level NMs?
I don't think the outcry for content is that there isn't literally nothing more for the players to do, but rather that they feel like there is nothing that they want to do. At least for me that is.
But here was one of my old goals which I've only completed once (according to plan) to keep myself entertained.
Level a class to 36 or higher, then do all the Class Quest in one run.
This way you get the story back to back. Makes it a lot more comprehensive than doing a million other quest at the same time.
@lackofwords
I see your point, but there is also the issue that most of this stuff is 1 time, eg: Nodes, Achievements, Guild Quests, Sidequests, Story, Grand Company quests, Reach Max Rank are all 1 time things. And there is not enough of them, there are about 170 quests, very poorly lacking and SE broke their promise of "we'll add new side quests every patch" which is not doing them good justice right now.
So then if you take away them you are left with: All@50, Moogle, Ifrit, Meteria, Shposhae, Leves, Player created content, Coffer Hunts, Grand Companie Leves, Dungeons, PLing, Behest and Escorts.
PLing is well is of mixed opinion and varies weather it be "content" or "disgraceful!" to different people. So remove that from the choices and behest is only useful if you're not maxed, chocobo escort subject to if you're not max GC rank, grand companie leves also subject to max level/max GC Rank, leves subject to max level and the all@50 is subject to you being all@50 or even wanting to be all@50 (i dont.. so its not content to me) so you're left with all the options a majority of people face:
Moogle, Ifrit, Materia, Shposhae, Player created content, Coffer, Dungeons. We all know only 3 of the 7 is being actively done.
I see a fault in conditions to do content, the lacking of quantity and a unwillingly reward for content that is causing issues where when you have a list of content, only a small percentage of it matters in the end.
