All it took was to say i'm sorry you feel this way this is how you solve the problem. Instead of attacking her and making feel like crap. God some of you lot really make me feel sick.

When people offered her help, she said she didn't want to accept help from other people so....

Kind of hard to feel sympathetic for someone who insisted that the only disabilities were the ones they deemed as "real disabilities." I would suggest going back to read the entire thread, because the OP was abrasive towards EVERYONE who commented and disagreed with her statement that SE was outright discriminating against individuals with dyslexia, which they are not doing. Not only that, she dismissed another poster's disability because she deemed it as not being a real disability because it was "curable," and was twisting definitions to try and fit her definition of a disability.

Okay, I've been staying out of it because the topic didn't seem very productive, but I've just got to ask... Did you even read most of the 20 pages?

People were not attacking the OP for having a disability. They were reacting to the fact that she called the event discriminatory (it's not; by any reasonable definition of the word) and the fact that she acted like a flaming douchebag to anyone and everyone who dared to disagree with her in the slightest.

It's a shame that she struggled with the event; even though I do not personally have dyslexia I empathize with anyone who suffers from a learning disability and I certainly would have offered to help had she asked for it. But just because she is disabled does not make her exempt from acting like a decent human being.

Wow LOL I have dyslexia too(and also dyscalculia) as my linkshell mates can confirm with my constant typos and misreading, and there's been a few things in game that have made me baffled(like I just finished that Winebaud's message quest and I could not figure it out) so... I just go look up tips. That's not discriminatory, geez. But this event had nothing to do with dyslexia, you just have to line the numbers up with the letters on the next screen. I figured it out without even looking for a guide. It makes me angry when others with dyslexia act like everyone needs to dumb things down for us. It's a LEARNING disability, I don't like people treating me like am invalid and I don't want SE to change things just so I never have any challenges.

Learn to read. The only disability the OP has is being an overly self-entitled crybaby. I call BS on the whole dyslexia thing.

Yeah, you may want to read from the beginning, starting with the thread title. That wasn't a good start for the OP. It just went downhill from there.

This thread is going nowhere. She was told and given help but doesn't seem to be enough for her.

One thing is to pass some feedback to the team for future reference but instead we get someone ranting and throwing toys everywhere like a bloody child .
