    Healer role skill suggestion

I think it'd be really cool if healers could get some support abilities in the role skill category. By support abilities I mean spells like Haste, Bravery and Faith, maybe defensive spells like Wall (hard to differentiate it from Protect though).

These spells would be on the GCD with a base MP cost. They would be single target with a short duration (30s, or maybe 15s).

In terms of overall effect, the damage they add would have to amount to less than what healer DPS is normally.

This would give healers the option to contribute to the party's overall DPS while still taking a more 'passive / supportive' role that many associate with 'healers'.

It also adds a lot of new options to make healing more engaging. You could take a defensive buff and the usual suite of Lucid Dreaming, Swiftcast, Eye for an Eye and Largesse, increasing the party's defenses between healing. Or perhaps your co-healer is doing all the healing, so you could take more offensive buffs in place of Eye for an Eye and Largess.

If your playstyle is going to call for more offensive play, such as a Scholar in the majority of content or a White Mage in an expert dungeon with lots of time to AoE, you could take Haste and cast it yourself for faster Holy. Conversely, you could cast it on yourself to increase the speed of your healing or to buff the party faster.

It would add an interesting aspect of healing by giving the players more interesting abilities to utilise during the extensive healing downtime that many fights have. It also doesn\\'t remove the need or requirement for healing to utilise their damage dealing abilities. Having the option to add more variety to a base toolkit that is almost exclusively 'deals damage' or 'heals the target' (in regards to standard, GCD abilities) could make the healing role much more engaging.
