    so let me get this straight, we ask for some information and give some basic ideas on endgame content we would like to see in the future. Since we already know it will be some time before its implemented we just wanna know Yoshi's direction on this before we invest more time because, lets face it, what we have received so far has not been well made and is casual garbage. whatever we can deal.

    Next you call us out because we want this information, telling us it will be here eventually(which we already know) and tell us the servers are unstalbe at the moment(which we also already know). thats cool.

    BUT you already have a thread about some ENGINEER CLASS stating you want implemented in the future, sound familiar? It is the same thing you tried to just tell us off for!OMG!

    Read the OP before commenting. No one said implement it now.

    Anyways.. I'd love to see content like the OP is suggesting. Limbus was by far my favorite event in FFXI as well. Even if it's instanced it can still be made to last a while and keep us entertained the whole time.

    Multiple wings, bosses, items all coming from one specific form of content is always a good time sink (yes, I said good time sink). This doesn't favor any particular play-style more than another. Overall, completing all the wings the get to the final boss can take hours, but they don't have to be completed all at once which is the beauty of it.

    Even without the time restrictions like XI had (which I wouldn't mind anyways) content like this would last much longer than just a simple dungeon or Primal fight.

    Also, while you're at it, give us a real loot system and get rid of this "everyone gets their own chest" BS lol. It might work for a dungeon finder type system, but for Linkshells it's annoying as hell.

    I would like to have more (Depth/Open World) in this game, besides just "Instance, Instance, Instance" which if you can tell 100% of the time, those instance fights you're stuck in a small circle... and if someone says there's raids just think about it a little... Who really goes into those places now ever since ifrit and moogle type fights drop better **** then raids

I want to add that at this point I don't think anyone considers the current content endgame unless its 'end of version 1.0.' We're one or two level caps increases away from seeing real endgame.

    I like the way Limbus and Einherjar made you complete certain objectives in order to enter the next zone in the chain.

    The way you had to achieve specific conditions to move between floors in Limbus and Nyzul.

    The way Salvage made you fight without any of the gear you had earned up until that point, and made the leader prioritize who got what gear slots unlocked.

    In Sky and Sea how you had to navigate a maze, open doors to get to a NM spawn to get drops to pop the gods.

    Boss fights that require players to be 100% in doing their jobs, and which take good leadership skills to coordinate.

    Killing specific NMs in the zone to pop the boss NM.

    I want endgame items that require large amounts of gil, drops from endgame areas, titles, clearing BCNM, and obtaining crafted items to obtain. They should have a good story quest and lore to go with them. Think Mythic weapon quests here.

    I didn't like the mindless kill X number of this mob Y number of that mob and Z number of this other one to progress through magian. Magian was good in concept, but what was good was more along the lines of the NM's for the empyrean weapons.

    While dynamis remains my favorite event the four hour time commitment was a bit much for people. It made it hard to keep people attending.

    Instances are a must so multiple shells/companies can do the same event at the same time.

    Competitive fights like the Kings, or Charbydis are a must as well as special NM pops like the one for O Hat.

    It would have been neat if in sky the God spawns were where other shells could watch the fight but not interfere sort of like an Arena. That would have been epic in sky to fight in a floating area where the people waiting there turn could sit and watch.

    The Ark Angels fight was awesome as was Bahamut.

    Maat!

    Most of all it needs to be fun. Some of my best memories are actually of wipes where everyone took the XP loss and kept getting back up and throwing themselves at the NM so the shell didn't loose the pop set. It was all about dedication to your group of friends, and the hard knocks were a small price to pay.

    You know what I want in this game?

    I want the beast tribes to actively try to attack our cities! Get invaded like we did in the passt in ffxi!!!!
    Have gear that is specifically designed for that content and a point system much like our current Grand Company system!
    Kind of like behest but the city is the target of the monsters and we have to defend it...getting our npcs kidnapped would be fun as well!

    I agree. I'm not even endgame, but definitely think it should be addressed relatively soon. With the advent of payment soon I would hope for a plan of detailed specifics on endgame open world content, even if it is for 2.0. I want to know what to look forward to. And before anyone cries 'casual', casual my deliciously round, tight, supple ass(I do squats fyi). Only ones that remain are pretty much the hardcore elite or soon to be.
