It's quite emotional really, the game I played before FFXIV was summarily killed online in the West by Sony/D3/Level 5, and I remember the emotional sting of saying goodbye to my old world. So I feel great empathy for players of 1.x who were there at the end. Even though I wasn't there myself, I still feel some of the sense of loss from the shared experience of losing a world. The Answers reprise is an amazing musical catalyst for that, it somehow manages to encompass the emotions, or at least trigger them.
