Actually the quest itself gave you enough points to buy everything from the event.Well, the point of the Gold Saucer event was about the increased MGP gain from its games. Said increasement helped you to buy the new featured items and helped people to get their remaining collections: Mounts, glamour, cards, songs, minions, etc. That's why it was short.
WoW has long and grindy holiday events. I think I only ever finished one. And it was one of the easiest one despite having to invade PVP flaggable places to get things.
So... ya know... I like these far more completable ones, with fancy cutscenes here and there rather than ones I have to poke at every other year in vain hopes of ever completing them.
Eh, it depends really. Think the main one I like most in WoW is Brewfest, and it has a little depth to it without going too crazy. It also just amuses me greatly when I hear the drunk goblins as background noise. XIV's, I wish they would get fleshed out just a bit more like they sometimes do for the Starlight Celebration. Gives you a reason to get a little something every day. Beyond that I don't really have any complaints. I enjoy XIV's events for the most part. Usually not a whole lot to them, but they're still nice.WoW has long and grindy holiday events. I think I only ever finished one.
