Need some tips on how to use group pose? Check out these Developers' Blogs to take your favorite actions and abilities to new heights!
We highly recommend checking out the following blog posts for a rundown on the group pose feature.

Here are some quick tips from us:
  1. Choose the action or ability you want to use.
The group pose feature will repeat the last emote, ability, or action you have used last. For actions that require a target, you can use it against a striking dummy or against monsters first and then move to a location where you would like to capture the shot. Please note that when you zone into a new area, this is reset, so be sure to choose your /gpose location wisely!

  2. Getting into group pose mode
You can enter the group pose by either:
    • Typing /grouppose (/gpose) in the chat window
    • Setting up a keybind which can be found under Movement > Pose as Group
    • Adding the Group Pose action under the Extras section in your Actions & Traits menu.

  3. Opening the Group Pose Settings
Keyboard: [R] or [Numerical Keypad: *]
    Gamepad: [X (□) button]
These are the default settings for using Group Pose, but for anyone who has already changed the above keybinds to something else, press the buttons in use in [Autorun] or [Subcommand].

  4. Camera Controls
By default you can move the camera with the WASD keys, and use the Q and E keys to tilt the camera.
You can zoom in/out as you normally would on your character using the mouse wheel or Page Up/Down keys, but you can zoom further in or out by adjusting the Angle of View Settings under the General Settings.

  5. Freezing the Characters
You will notice that in group pose mode, you and your fellow party members will repeat the last used action. Press the 1 key, or LT (L2) button on the gamepad to disable/enable all motions, or press the 2 key, or RT (R2) button to disable/enable motion on the target.
You can cycle through your party members (as well as your companions, mounts, and even minions) by hitting the tab key.

  6. Lights, Lights, Lights!
Worried about bad weather? You got the action you want, but stuck inside a dark room or a dungeon? Fear not! You have three light sources available in group pose!
Under the Lighting Settings you can place up to three light sources. The light source will be place where the camera is currently located at, so move that camera around to find the best place to leave a light source! You can then adjust the strength of the lighting by changing the type of lighting, as well as changing the color of the light source.

  7. Color Filters, Screen Effects, Frames, and more!
Now that you go the perfect zoom, lighting, and angle, it's time to play around with color filters, screen effects, and frames!
Color filters, screen effects, depth of field, and limb darkening can be found inside the General Settings section and frames can be found inside the Effect/Motion/Subject Settings.
Be sure to try out different combinations as they can produce some amazing screenshots!

Here's a couple from us with the group pose UI! (Make sure your UI isn't visible on yours though!)

    Good luck!
