    warrior Bis?

    anyone got an rough idea on what to go for as warrior bis

    i know crafted jewelry is the bees knees(which i have)

    but im thinking more of the left side pieces would love to know the stat weights we have give or take a few
    if anyone would be so kind to help out

    Ten MELDs don't get higher tho. Crit might outweight DH in the future, but my guess, DH melds for tanks will stay awesome, just because you get the chance to crit DH.

    On a side note: No one has tested the effect of Sks on GCD dmg increase. It might be possible that Sks=Det > Ten. Yet it's hard to calculate it like Det or Ten, or even Crit. This is the first raid tier, BiS will actually get more clear once we reach higher stat numbers. Right now, I feel like it doesn't really matter which items you equip as long as it's higher in iLvl. (Not counting acc tho, take pentamelded.)

    The problem with SkS is that you're likely to lose part of its benefit it you have any downtime from mechanics or boss jumps.
    From a pure theoretical standpoint (ie.100% uptime, infinite duration), SkS is very close to Det and I'd even say it could be better because of the extra gauge generation for WAR/DRK.
    In practical situations, you're unlikely to realize the full benefit of SkS and I would consider it worst than Ten after certain threshold (e.g. 9 gcd in berserk)

    True, I just did some math to determine what SkS value would be needed to actually benefit from it to optimize your CDs.

    For WAR, you would need a GCD of 2.35 -> SkS 1316
    For PLD, to squeeze an additional rotation, GCD of 2.26 -> SkS 1917

    First one pretty easy to acquire, second would need many SkS VI melds. Also wouldn't really benefit from party buffs, as most jobs don't stack SkS/SpS. So yeah, totally not worth unfortunately
    (Well, not yet, in the future we might get gear to reach these numbers without any melds.)

    I think a GCD of 2.45, 2.44 or 2.4 is optimal! So, SkS value 648, 715 or 982 respectively.

    I'm curious how you based your analysis, especially on the 2.35 gcd for WAR.
    did you look at gauge generation for an extra FC? just for an extra rotation? over which duration?

    WAR GCD is based on this sheet, and the amount of GCD you can do in 120 sec (IR CD):
    Document on all Tank openers by -MB-Crypsis

    For PLD, if you want to make full use of your CD buffs (FoF + Req): 60 sec - 5x2.5 sec (Holy Spirit)=47.5 sec for GB combo, 2x RA combo, GB, 2x RA, GB before next HS spam.
    So, that's 7x3 GCD skills: 47.5 : 21 = 2.26 (This would also cause GB DoT to never fall off.)

    Of course this is all theory for making full use of your CD buffs, which wouldn't work in reality.

    Maybe I am not entirely sure how Ten is going to be adjusted, but I reckon it will become the stat that will be very beneficial for tanks at a later stage in the game when ilvl is higher. I don't think SE would just change Parry to Ten and then just leave it there and become like parry was before where no-one takes it. But time will tell I guess, Sks is on almost all your creation gear though, I am not good at math in games but I don't think it is needed to add melds for Sks. Unless your latency is really bad and you cant wing in your cleaves in the tight window.
