Has happened to me a few times, figure I wanted the item anyway, bought it, got what I paid for either way.. Do I prefer the sale sure, but it happens. Point being on a recent one.. Saw the Ranger poses were out finally (missed the event ), bought them, and now they're on sale. Which is fine, I have a few alts.. ok.. about 10.. so at least til the sale ends I can buy emotes cheaper for alts for a little while (and have). Just have to grin and bear it sometimes.
