    PVP medal system could use a nerf.

    As it is now the team with more medals is at such blatant disadvantage you must really be terrible to not make a comeback... and then the whole thing revolves around who times better killing the other team full of medals 1 minute before match ends and retreating to their base.
    Complete nonsensical cat and mouse play.
    I'm not even against the idea of giving a slight advantage to the team that is losing, but this is beyond ridiculous. Either make vulnerabilities slightly decrease damage taken or give less of them?

    The only reason Heavy Medal was tolerable in 3.0 was because tanks could safely 4-stack with enough tools to handle it.

    Now it is absolute garbage, causing awful shifts and penalizing winning teams for getting any significant kill lead. The vulnerability values need a significant reduction.

    (It also makes Cover extra dangerous to use, when it's used far more frequently than it was in 3.0)

    I agree... there's simply no way to defend/heal through medals. Tanks getting 4 stacks early in the game is almost guaranteed to die, and even a single stack on a ranged makes them eligible for death-by-sneeze.

    Don't even get me started on cover, as a healer that ability gives me mind games. "Oh... ok, tank has covered, gives me time to heal up the ranged.... Aaaaaaaand tanks dead."

    Atreus clearly touched on a very... Very... VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY important point which is there are NOT enough skills/variety to survive holding on to these medals. Which why almost all these matches players are so apprehensive and just flat out scared to pick up the earnings of their kill. And safe guard and heal ( let me settle down because "Additional Skills" is a whole new topic that gets my heating gauge up) can only do but so much... :[

    I have complain in the past, a team shouldn't be penalized for getting kills, and the more kills you get the more vulnerable your team is? Does that make sense to anyone? You get penalized for winning? The medal system needs a rework.

    I get why they did it. They wanted to make tanks a more viable target late-game. Ideally you want no one but your tank taking medals unless you're super in the lead and already 4-stacked, but then it shouldn't be so debilitating that you're near guaranteed to fall and lose all of it.

    Been saying for awhile now that medal stacks should go up in 5% increments, up to 50% on 10 stacks.

    The whole system needs a rework. It feels like such a piece-meal thing. If they had to separate PVP and PVE to make PVP more workable and balanced, then great, but they REALLY need to look at Feast and Frontlines and do something about the bots/win-traders/blackout week and all that nonsense.
