Last second potd solo floor 30

I did managed to do the kill just at about 15s missing, but I wonder how I can put out more damage as an AST, if I'm not doing something terribly wrong, I have just one damage skills, one aoe (here is locked), and one dot, and the random buffs I can get by cards.

And even I used all time I can, to levelup, I neither did managed to reach boss level 49...

Looks like you didn't use a Lust pomander for the boss. Or you did, but it was taking ages to kill despite it, in which case my suggestion for speeding it up would have been to use another Lust pomander and maintain the vulnerability stacks. Plus Void Fire II spam probably beats spamming Malefic I as well.

AST is probably the worst class to use in PoTD just due to how weak our damage spell potencies are.

I notice you don't have cleric stance on your bar so that's 5% damage you're missing out on right there, since you can't use e4e on yourself that's kind of a wasted role skill in PoTD solo runs. Don't underestimate your card buffs and make sure to use them off CD, you have speed, damage and critical hit rate cards in your deck, all of which will speed up kills and bole and pomander of steel which will indirectly speed up kills by making you have to waste less GCDs on heals.

Also, i notice you don't actually have combust on the boss in the screenshot, if it tics for the full duration it is 240 potency compared to malefics 150, so should be reapplied as soon as it falls off.

Also in the lower lvls of potd depends what lvl you are usually should try combining rages with fortunes to get that extra xp and chance of restocking pomanders.

Didn't got a single rage in all 30 floors, and I have explored them all
Combust was off just a tick before the screen, that thing were spamming aoe as hell and most of the time I had to move out. I guess half of the damage was done by the dot itself as I cannot spam malefic, just one cast, move, another cast, move, and then cast healing because the damage, move, rinse and repeat.

Just lucky that one havent enrage(or have it later,dunno), but the fight took 6 minutes long.

When took the screen and time running out I decided to spam malefic so it was him down or me down situation, no time to run around as before and starting to eat the flame aoe.
Good thing that cleric hint, took that off for general use but there is surely a spell to have.

Yep used it for the 5 stacks then removed because I cannot heal myself in lust and were half hp after casting for the 5th stack. Lusts seems to be a rare occurrence in solo and didn't wanted use other ones.

Level 40 boss pwned me. Lust + 5 stacks + cleric + potions + dmg and def pomanders but when at scream, one of the adds always alive (10%), did it several times but never were able to down them both before scream. Fight took 10 min, several screams, died with boss at about 16% because I were totally out of mana.
