So with the lack of content post story whats everyone doing to stay busy?

I'm guessing you already cleared O4S since those "8 raids" are so little content to keep you busy?

I always find responses like these to be particularly irksome.

So let's say this person is raiding - they are in a relatively middling static, so they only run for about 6-9 hours a week. Whether they have or have not cleared O4S, there is still a hell of a lot of time outside of those few hours where you are going to be left wondering what to do.

But why are people still calling leveling jobs , content tho thats not content. Because what about those whom only want to be a tank for instance , so then should they level up the other jobs just because ? We dont have actual content outside of a few fights and treasure maps

My guess is that there's very few people that only level 1 or 2 classes. And for those that only level that few there's always treasure maps, omega, rouletes, hunts, pvp, extreme trials, challenge log, etc

In my first replay here I did say that not having the relic early in the expansion was a mistake but that would be one of the main end game things to do with or instead of savage raiding. One of the things they really need to work on is rewarding more/different stuff but there's still plenty there. But plenty is subjective, you can disagree but I don't want people in 4.1 to curse themselves that they fell behind and wish they had finished leveling some classes or had gotten enough clusters/materia, made enough gil, farmed susano/lakshmi enough, did more hunts, etc when all the new stuff is there. I've seen it happen a lot.

You know who you are those with less than 2 million gil who will then curse the world they can't get the new shiny sophia weapons, enough materia, or new gear, or etc

Content is available. Choosing NOT to do that content isn't a lack of content.

This argument is not accurate.

Have you cleared all Coil 1-5 with all jobs at Min Item Level, have you soloed all bosses possible on RDM, have you earned 1million MGP...... Have you counted all the pebbles on the ground both in the Fringes and Northern Thanalan. These are Technically things you can do in game. But they are meaningless in terms of progression at all.

Sure there is content in FFXIV a ridiculous amount but most of it is pure fluff or completely negated with newer patches. What people argue about is meaningful content that progresses your character, which in that this game is sorely lacking.

Honestly this game has way too much content to do. Leveling all jobs, crafts and gathering I am not even close to getting 70 on those. So many roulette to do each day. Glamor, minions and pets to get as well. Feels like I barely have time to play any other games that aren't FFXIV.

barring your hyperbolic examples, there IS lots of developer created content that this individual has likely not touched. I'm not arguing , I'm pointing out facts: LACK of content isn't the problem, lack of content this person wants to DO is. " in terms of progression at all." is a lot of peoples problem when they lament a lack of content.
I am trying to point out that when you say "this game has no content" it sounds ridiculous for the amount of actual things there ARE to do in the game. If you said: "This game lacks endgame progression content." then yes. Currently it does. But it likely always will since people consume far faster than the devs an produce.
