I just wanted to chime in here, real quick. You might have confused her with your choice of adjective; her comments sometimes do run toward smug and patronizing, but that's not what smarmy means.

Mostly just wanted to point that. As for on topic, I don't have very strong opinions either way. A Plex system would be a nice convenience and a good way to combat RMTs, but I think FF14 would survive fine without it. All these Chicken Littles running around and saying how it would herald the end of the world did give me a good chuckle though.
