I feel like Meracydia is where the story will reach its climax, as it's the only continent besides the current three we know much of anything about and seems like the most probable destination after Ilsabard/Garlemald are dealt with.

I want to explore the idea that primals can be different compared to who summons them. I want to fight and Ifrit that isn't like the Ifrit we know. A Leviathan that isn't the same one we fought in Limsa. Imagine beastmen that work in a Garlean work camp or experimented on in a lab. Beastmen that never saw Aldeanrd in years, or ever. Their primals would be different. I want to see it. Also I want to look at the other shard. And Meracydia. Both the present day and the one from the age of Allag.

Alot of people seemed to hate the postmoogle quests. but I liked them and would like to see more.
Each postmoogle quest focussed on a specific otherwise forgettable person you met during your travels and fleshed them out a little bit more by either explaining their background and motives or by showing what kind effect your assitance has had in the long run. This helps make even the most mundane side quest npc more of a part of the world.
This is actually a great point, and reminds me of something else I was recently musing about.Alot of people seemed to hate the postmoogle quests. but I liked them and would like to see more.

I like Hildy as much as anyone, but I don't want those quests to be the sum total of all endgame sidequesting. I want more little ongoing stories that expand the world and its characters in context, like the Post Moogle, Doman Adventurers' Guild, Scholasticate, etc., and I hope that these haven't been totally abandoned because of Hildy's popularity.
(Also, I genuinely don't understand why the Post Moogle stuff didn't continue. It's a premise that's easy to use as-is for the purpose of exploring side characters, and wouldn't need any conceptual tweaking expansion to expansion.)
I can't stand the Hildibrand quests. I used to brush them off as being perfectly fine because they existed within their own little bubble that didn't really affect anything else. Yet they keep being brought back despite the gags being pretty repetitive, contradictory to the rules/integrity of the setting and worst of all it really does seem like they steal development time from other forms of side content.
It doesn't help that they tried to branch out with the Scholasticate quest chain but ended up tying that to Hildibrand related content as well. With the Moogle Delivery quests we at least got a healthy mixture of lighthearted quests, serious quests and so on. Hildibrand is just one repetitive flavour.
