The points are per class, don't sweat it.
Also, the drop rates are terrible, very very frustrating.
When something stops being fun, there is a problem. Drop rates are not fun, keys, coffer loot, Primal totems... big pain.
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
No likey? No playey.

keys for us seem to be a 50% drop rate on a bad night. Normally the keys drop fairly regularly every time we fight. Its getting the goods in the coffer thats an issue
You know only 1 mob drops the key?

P.S. They are class specific. Unless, you mean you don't know if you want to be a magic attack mage, a healing mage, a ranged attack mage, a melee mage, or a tank mage.
Oh actually I did not know that. Well, good to learn that they are for each class. When I logged in after the patch came, saw people talking about it saying that they don't want to spend them because you can't reset them. So I thought they were like the attribute point system what was in the game before it got removed, but now with a twist that you can't reset them. So I just left them be there without putting them. Haven't seen anyone talking about the points for a while so I totally even forgot.
And btw BruceyBruceyBangBang, stop being an asshole. Really, but well you're just another forum troll, like 90% of the people here are.

noooo my BiS gear didnt drop on the first time! wtf SE fix this!!!...............

Take your own advice, you have turn into an annoying as hell person by callling everyone a troll and an idiot, as if you are a better or smarter person. No wonder no one takes you seriously here. Also, if you feel the drop aint worth the time spent then don't do it, that might be new concept for you though, like the attributes points.

People take notice on little things and start calling you a noob if you don't know one thing which is not even that big of a deal. It's like, you're a complete idiot who doesn't know anything about the whole game if you don't know something so little that doesn't have much meaning anyways, just because someone pointed out from my screenshot that I haven't used my attribute points.
My god, you people are amazing. You're bickering over that and flaming me for it over the whole point of this thread while branding me as a total idiot who doesn't know anything about the game just because I did not read the recent patchnotes completely. And no, I couldn't give a rats ass about some stupid item that drops with low chances on a place that I rarely even go to. I don't really care about collecting items in an mmo, but I do care about the time that I'm investing to it. I want to make my time seem worthwhile, progressing as I play the game. By all means I do not want everything handed over to me in a silver plate, like "get a key and get item instantly" you're just saying that because you assume that's what I want. No it is not what I want. The point was to actually get a chance to obtain the item with the key. Even opening the chest 300 times would make me happier, than waiting for 50 kills on the mob who drops the key for it and then having a chance to get the item, if you're lucky enough to obtain the key when it drops.
And yes, I did play WoW a couple of years ago, I did went and kill baron rivendare 754 times to have a chance to get the mount BEFORE they made the droprate higher. I didn't care if it was 1 chance in 5000 to get it. I knew that as long as I kept doing it, I always had a chance to get it. Also, when ever I did complete that stratholme dungeon, I also made a lot of gold while disenchanting all the stuff I found there, so there was always a reward for the work I put into it, even though I didn't get the mount. This was when I really cared about getting items in an MMO. I couldn't pull a stunt like that anymore anyways.
Now you smart trolls are probably going to call me a WoW fag or something along those lines. Well just to know I've played a lot of other mmo's including FFXI a long time ago. The example was just to clarify my point about doing stuff you feel like you're making a progress on. I thank SE for the ifrit totems, they're a great addition, but it still doesn't justify the fact they don't drop every time. They should have at least made the totems drop 100% of the time and increase the amount of totems you need for the weapons. Just my opinion. At least you'd definitely know you'll get it at some point without feeling like you're wasting your time with it.
Well, it doesn't matter what you type to these forums, there are always some idiots who will ruin the whole thread ayways. So there's no point in writing anything here anyways. So what ever you reply / say to me, I won't take it seriously. This is for all the trolls out there. <3
Peace.
