    FINAL FANTASY XIV ORCHESTRA CONCERT 2017 - Ticket mystery

    In May the Lodestone announced the Orchestra Concert 2017, and that there would be an advance lottery for players to get tickets.

    I won the lottery and June 7th I bought the ticket through the Square Enix store. (Strangely, there was no confirmation of what date and time my ticket was for the whole process.)

    Now, a couple months later, I have no further news of when my ticket might arrive. I'm only assuming it will be coming by mail, seeing as they asked for a shipping address. But even allowing for international 6-8 weeks, it should have been here by now, and the concert itself is in four weeks.

    I asked for help from the Square Enix store, Square Enix support, and even called the Japanese number listed on the promotional page.
    All three said that they don't know anything about where the tickets are.

    Is anyone in the same boat as me? Has anyone actually gotten their ticket for the concert from that advance lottery? (Should I be trying to get my money back?)

    I did find one other on the French side of the forum with the same trouble, but no answer.

    I have the same concern too! They did say that "the ticket will be delivered in August 2017" in the first letter I received (the one told you how to purchase). My issue is, I will move to a new house from September, and if i cannot receive my ticket before moving, i will need to change the delivery address.

    I live in Japan but my account is EU account, and strangely my purchase was done in a NA online store. At first I thought my ticket will be sent from the US, so i contact the NA online store to ask that when my ticket will arrive, and how can i change my delivery address (I am EU account so i dont have a REAL NA online store account, so strange), but they said my question is beyond their knowledge LOL, and tell me to contact SE support center. However, it was SE support center that asked me to contact NA online store. Anyway I will call the number on the Japanese promotional page, but I guess i will get the same response as you got.

    Same problem here.
    I lived in NA but came back to South Korea for Vacation.

    So I was worried about my ticket shipping and asked to NA SE store but they said they don't know anything about ticket.

    I called the number at promotion page
    but they are not Square enix so doesn't know it either.

    Lastly I have contacted JP Square enix music custormer center and they said they will reply me as soon as they gather some information.

    I hope I could get my ticket safe.. I already purchased my hotel and airplane in 9/23.

    I'm so glad I'm not alone in this, although I'm upset that this is happening at all...

    It sounds like you got the same run-around I did.

    Miao and Velvet, good luck calling the number on the promotion page!
    Even if you get the same reply I did, maybe having so many people call them will make them start asking questions too. It won't hurt to try! (By the way, they were able to get me an operator in English, so you can try asking if you're not confident with your Japanese.)

    I also e-mailed JP support. My Japanese is not good, but I hope they can answer me.

    I will also keep you updated when I hear something!

    I'm glad to see I'm not alone. NA account and NA purchase, living in Guam. Post tends to get delayed/lost/stolen/damaged on the way here, so I was starting to worry. Like you, I have already bought by plane ticket and booked a place to stay. I'm also half-way done making my riviera dress and lesser panda minion. Hopefully we will all get our tickets in time!!

    I am in the same boat as everyone else. I'm an American with a NA account living in Japan. We only have less than a month until the concert and I was starting to worry about the tickets. I really hope everyone can get their tickets in time and that we hear something about them soon. ^^;;

    If I don't get anything by the first week of September I'm probably going to call Japanese support since NA does not seem to know what they are doing. I am relieved that it isn't just me who hasn't received any tickets yet.

    Not exactly glad to know that there are quite a number of you who have the exact same problem as me!
    I stay in Singapore, and play on an EU account (don't ask me why....)
    Ticket bought through the Square Enix Online Store on June 6th just like everyone else who won a spot in the SE ticket application exercise sometime back in May.
    Been checking my mailbox every afternoon, and getting really desperate at the non-arrival of my ticket... and I've already booked my flight to Tokyo!
    Sent off emails to SE Online Store support, also got on webchat with them, but no they do not know (or have any records of) my purchase despite me giving them a copy of the purchase invoice (of which payment had already been made). The support officer in the webchat did say they would "escalate the matter to Japan", but it's already been a week and I haven't heard anything. To make matters worse, they told me to contact EU support....
    and EU support referred me back to..... US support.
    !!!!!!!!!
    I'm gonna give this one more week, failing which I'll have to then enact plan B, which is to purchase another ticket for the concert myself!!! (This is gonna be quite tricky, but planning to ask some friends living in Tokyo for help as this is the best option). As it stands now, both concerts on 23rd Sep are sold out, only the two remaining concerts on 24th are still available. My original ticket purchase was for the 23rd Sep afternoon concert, so that I could be among the first to get some FF merchandise before it sells out LOL... (learnt this the hard way from last year's Vegas FanFest sighhhhh). Am gonna be in Tokyo from 20th to 26th anyway for a much-needed break.

    I've heard of some issues with the company that deals with or operates the Square Enix Online Store, Scalefast Inc.
    Please please get your act together.......

    Also, I just discovered... the Tokyo Game Show is gonna be happening THAT VERY SAME WEEKEND! 23rd and 24th exhibitions are open to the public, for a small admission fee. Just do a Google search for info!

    Also..hoping to get some attention from a moderator here..... 23rd September is fast approaching...

    I asked on the subreddit. Someone replied saying that they reached someone via email:

    "We apologize for the delay, but the tickets are expected to be sent by the first week of September.

    Be sure we'll do our best to send them right on time."

    Yaaaay!

    This is good news! ^.^

    For myself, I'm still hoping to hear back personally from JP support, but this is a relief to hear!

    However for the people who need to change their mailing address, they will still need to get in contact with someone...
    Akimi, do you know if that e-mail address/method they got a hold of someone by can be shared?

    Hmm... do you have a link to that reddit thread?

    I do hope to get my ticket delivered soon too... it has been quite the source of distress as of late :'(

    My ticket is for the first performance on Sat 23rd at 13:00, what about you guys?
    Can't wait to drop everything back here at home and head on this road trip!
    (i.e. there's Eorzea Cafe again....omnomnom... hitting the arcade machines at Akihabara... Tokyo Game Show....)
