Should there be a bigger reward for helping first time clears for certain content?

Like deltascape savage for example. I've basically mastered savage 1 but because everyone who has already cleared it refuses to run with parties with people that have a bonus, I might never get to clear it.

Maybe if the reward was much bigger for something like this, more people would be willing to run it.

If there would be a way to prove that somebody can actually do mechanics, then there would be more people willing to help or run it. For me personally, no matter what content it is, you could pay me millions of tomes, hell even full GM mode or something, I wouldn't want to run it more then I have too. Because every time somebody claims that they have "mastered" a fight, but haven't cleared yet because of the healer/tank/dps's fault, I put this person on the black list. And I can tell you exactly why, that are the people that always blame others, but the first 3 seconds into the fight, dying to stupid stuff. Not saying that's what you do, but it's the majority, therefore I can see why I or even others might not want a bonus/new player in the group, or willing to give it a try unless they have absolutely nothing to do that day. It's more aggravating and frustrating then it would be worth the reward.

Most people would be willing to run it, but not for more than 1-2 pulls. If someone wants to help they should be doing it of their own accord IMO. If you've mastered a given piece of content just put it up as a kill party.

I hate to say but most people aren't even willing to run Shinryu for 1 pull in their roulette for 60 verity tomes, let alone helping with savage content.

That in mind, good idea, but then people would gear far too quickly, and then it just sounds like I *must* help someone, rather than I *could* help someone. Edit: Maybe I just need more faith.

Don't kill parties have much success rate? I know if you're usually *sincere* with party finder and advertising then people are usually more inclined to join and help. That being said you could try setting up a permanent, or even temporary static of some sorts?

Perhaps organize a party in PF? Join one of the hundreds of FC's or linkshells out there that are running the content?

Though if Savage is the ONLY thing keeping you here, maybe see you next expansion? Savage is not really the beat all end all.

Good idea. However, there is no feasible way to determine who is helping whom; run something for a first-timer.
