^ This please. I'm tempted to go with the dragonkin race if not.

Also, it's not like this dev team is being true to the roots of the jobs anyway.
This game is not WoW; if you want WoW, go play WoW. If you get butthurt when people mention Final Fantasy XI, then shut up about WoW.

...and while the dev are at it how 'bout more manly women too:P

    teasing.

I think things are fine with the current races+ the new ones to be introduced with 2.0. As many have said, if you want a 'manly character there are races that are more brawny etc.

Square Enix definitely needs to add more character customization options - I think that's the main issue.

    1) Additional hairstyles & facial hair settings.
    2) Additional facial archetypes.
    3) Customizable body-types for people who want thin, moderate, or muscular characters.
    4) Option to make an older, more mature-looking character that isn't hideously wrinkled.

I would probably pick a female human character if there was adjustable breast and glute size. I would also lock my bedroom door when I play.

Exactly why I play a female character, lol. But then, I don't lock my bedroom door.

I think resources are better spent elsewhere. I am not a dev on the team or know what it takes to make armor fit the different bodies. It could very well be a lot of work to add a lot more body types. Anyway this can all be done through armor, not the body its self. I think with the right armor the taller races look plenty manly.

I think the midlander males look a little too feminine. I don't want to play a beefcake highlander or anything: I just want a guy that looks like a guy.

some people prefer the girl man types, i dont, but i didn't pick one for my character either though. For 2.0 i hope to see more of a variety within the races them selves though.
