elvaan in XI were pretty masculine. Except that one face...Generally speaking elven characters depicted in a high fantasy setting tend to be on the effeminate side. I wouldn't expect someone wanting to play a manly-man type character to be looking to an elf as his avatar. That said, I would not be against the addition of a few more masculine options available to the elven males in 2.0.
Even with "Manly" body types the emotes could be...questionable at times I mean what is with the new /happy emote for Elzen lol.
My character looks like he just seen a pride parade and wants to join in, quickly realises how odd he look and mans it up with a dual fist-pump.
My Elezen is f'ing hot, tyvm.
I think Elezen emotes are more of a "I don't give a shit" attitude more than fem.
