Considering the population of Lalafell over Elezen (The race you're playing). I'd say they've got about 4 times the amount of reasons to be added over Elezen.

I don't think it's weird if in some cutscene a lala lust over a woman of any other race, they are mentally adults after all, and I do mostly see them as such. But when it comes to them being depicted as sexual in any way, or non-lalafels being attracted to lalas, it gets weird... they do look like children after all,so that's just creepy. Other than that, they only have more joke potential than any other races.

But while we're at it, Miqo'te are just hyur with facial markings and cat ears + tail, let's remove them, and elezen are long hyurs, no good reason either, they're not even popular, then Au Ra are lizard hyur / long lizard hyur, we can scrap those too, and Roe are the least popular race anyway so a waste of space I suppose? Let's just scrap all races and leave only Hyur. I don't know why all those games feel compelled to include races when they don't even do much. And don't even get me started on how I met rude people from pretty much every race. You know what, I met two hyur player who were total creeps so let's remove those too and all play as chocobos.
