Question about the jump potions

I have a question about the jump potions from a friend who is a trial user but considering upgrading. I didn't know the answer so I thought I'd ask here.

Let's say they decide on a class and use a jump potion to skip the story and automatically level their character to 60. But if they decide they don't really like the class they chose, could they delete that character, create a new one and use the potion again? Or is it a once-and-done thing?

I think it's one-time per account for all characters but I wasn't sure what the situation was if the character got deleted. Could they then start fresh?

Once per account... so I doubt it. They'll be allowing multiple jumps soon and most likely in 4.1 which is 6 to 8 weeks away. They haven't really said too much about it though.

I'm considering jumping an alt myself. She's a level 45 whm so if I do it I will probably story skip to SB and then if I level jump I'll do a different role, most likely astro. I do have questions myself though.

1. does story jumping to Stormblood unlock the aether currents in Heavensward or does one have to do those as well.
2. does story jumping unlock things like Trial Roulette and 50/60 Roulette or does one have to run and unlock those separately.

I enjoy alts and may use role jump with them for roles I already have leveled on my main account.

Story jumping unlocks the roulettes, cause you don't need all available duties of the roulettes anymore to unlock it, except expert roulette.

As best as I can tell (I'm helping my friend level), it looks like all aether currents and teleport systems are unlocked. The dye system is unlocked too, but it looks like glamour prisms aren't, so you'll need to go to Mor Dhona and do that quest.

1. Yes it does. However aether current quests will still be available to do even though you already have the rewards.

You can fly straight away in heavensward areas. But if you want you ARR mounts magitek walkers, company chocobos and those things to fly you will need to do the optional quest. But using the manacutrer or black chocobo you can fly straight away.

2. The story jump unlocks all trials involved in the msq and all 50/60 dungeons. The roulettes are unlocked but you don't have the mapping the realm achievements and your first runs get bonus tomes.

The story jump doesnt unlock coil or Alexander raids even normal mode or the 24 man raids.

Doesn't unlock any extreme primals. or the warring triad normal modes and Hildebrand trials. Doesnt unlock gold saucer or hunts. Either. Or the housing district teleports

One other question, how about leveling up in Grand Company? My alts still needs two promotions (3 if you count leveling your squad). I suspect those would need to be done separately also.

Think it's just the rank for the chocobo. The rest you gotta do yourself. My alt already had squadrons when I used the jump thing to skip ahead

It looks like you're whatever the lowest rank is in the GC of your starting city.

All three jump potions are a one-time use. If your friend deletes their character, they will have to re-purchase the story skip while you won't be able to purchase a second level jump. Something to keep in mind, if said friend is joining you on the same server, you could help powerlevel them and save $25. A good method is for them to tag high level mobs while you murder them without being in a party together. By level 17, they can access PotD, which gives absurd amounts of EXP for the time investment.

I use a jump potion on my alt character awhile ago on a different data center. It took me through Shadowbringers. I finished Endwalker already. But trying to do the 4 lords questions so I can get the Hells Lid & Shallows Compass dungeons for my blu mage but cant find the quests...any suggestions?
