Anywho, why would anyone want a "commission" of their video game char lol
That stuff just kills me. What a time to be alive.

Um, me (and others too) that want to see their character's drawn in different styles. Just because you don't appreciate it doesn't make it a 'waste of time/money"
As a digital artist that works on commissions, I have you know that it take hours maybe longer to make art on programs like Paint Tool Sai, Photoshop, etc. depending on how the client wants it done.

Like any other job, the person deserves a break for their hard work.


To the OP: Places to go and ask for an artist to draw your character - any FFXIV group on Facebook, Tumblr, or DeviantART, or other social media sites that you follow.

Tumblr is also a great place to find talented artists as long as you don't mind wading through the NSFW stuff that can clog up the FFXIV tags.

Normally on tumblr you have to message the artist you want very fast when they do open though on tumblr - my friend opened up an art sale for an hour and got 40 full commissions. Pretty competitive to secure a spot if you don't have tons of money.

Wow that's crazy, but I guess the same could be said of popular dA artists. Commissions from professionals are always in demand I suppose.

My word. The person who said you're not even worth $15... there's a certain phrase the hunters in that South Shroud FATE use that applies to that to that person... I'll give the initials of each word: SOYSOSS. Your artwork looks amazing. Looks like something that could go for at least $50.

I had a logo commissioned for my online branding. The logo took 7 days, factoring in research, communication with me to make sure it was to my standard, creating the logo, fine tuning it, etc. There's tons of steps involved. Plus all the practice time they took to get good enough for taking commissions. Hardly "auto art that takes no time"

I should probably update, I did find an artist with an open commission and the artwork gallery looked great...so I am commissioning them Thank you for all the comments and suggestions.

As for that troll post...well...you know, I'm not one to feed the troll, and I just woke up, so I don't feel like trolling back just yet.
