FC Thief BEWARE!

Hello, My FC was recently robbed. Waifu Collector is the thiefs name beware if he applies to your FC. I helped him out and made him some gear and he repaid my kindness with theft of all crystals and every item in 1st slot of FC chest. I placed items like glamour prisms minions barding and items for fc use in that slot to help out new players. other members had items in there as well and that really makes me mad. I can replace the items but that's not the point I shouldn't have to. I'm just warning others to beware of this person.

I've had that happen to me one time, I didn't lose anything of value, they were merely items to help out new players as well. I tried contacting SE but the response I received was that they couldn't do anything because you let them have access to the chest, which is bad in my opinion. It doesnt matter if I gave them access, they clearly meant to steal and leave and they probably know they can do it because they won't get punished.

I get that you are upset and you should be, but naming and shaming will get you baned on the fourms. you'll have better luck talking to fc leaders in game. You can look me up when i'm on if you like

Hmmm sounds more like a FC administration problem. A thief can only act if you given them more access. The only person that should have access to Chest is main one or trusted second. Otherwise deposit only. If your FC gave them access to them it's their own fault for not taking into consideration the possibility thief. Never give access to remove, change or take items from Chest/House/Airship. FC common sense...

^this. You are responsible for your own FC chest. Would you give everyone access to the safe at your workplace? No. Then why do it in game?

People can be so Ungentlemanly sometimes. I say practice the rule of least privilege in your FC " only give people what they need"

This happened to the FC I am in a few months ago. There was a quick announcement in the FC about it (it actually happened during the night while most were offline when the theft occured. The next day is when people noticed.) and in the FC LS as well. Some were able to identify the culprit in-game and a report was sent to the GM. The GM said justice was made, but no details were given (probably due to policy..?). Most of the items were retrievable, but the crystals/shards/clusters lost were regained rather swiftly since the FC pulled together.

Next time that happens, be sure to report them in-game as soon as possible. ^.^

As Tsubaki as mentioned, posting someones name in a negative light, regardless of what actually happened, will land you in trouble.
This is to prevent people from just making false claims against others. I'm not saying you are, but I'm justifying the rather harsh stance SE has on this regard. It's up to the GMs to determine a guilty verdict, not us. Meaning you can't go around saying he did something bad, even in this case where he did nothing against any actual ingame rule.

I'd suggest editing out his name from your post, for your own sake.
