After picking up FFXII again, checking all nooks for hidden treasure bags, I really miss that in FFXIV. There are so many hidden corners and dead end alleys in the field, and no other reason to check them than vistas.

Wouldn't it be a nice incentive to explore the field, and prolong playtime, to scatter treasure chests or glimmers of loot randomly? Containing small amounts of gil or the like - just enough to make it worth searching - and maybe a small RNG chance of finding something extra valuable.
