Rescue Prank GONE WRONG!!!

During a praetorium run I decided to prank someone by rescuing them into danger. I decided to pick a ninja wearing lv. 65 gear. He never died but never reacted besides giving me an Ignore mark. I then rescued him into an AoE before the final boss died. Before leaving he said "commend me or I'll report you" so OF COURSE I commended him. But I feel like he reported me anyway. Nobody I did this to reacted this way. They either asked me why I did that or laughed about it. I think I should stop doing this...

Yes stop using Rescue to troll randos. Troll your friends. Not everyone has a sense of humor or will know it's not mean spirited (you ARE just being silly and not purposely obstructive right?)

I only do it as a joke in Castrum. M and The Praetorium. but I see where you're all coming from.

If you did that to me I would also be pissed of at you. Using rescue to pull people into aoes is not cool or funny. Troll your friends not strangers, it will backfire on you and get you reported.

This is why Rescue should be removed, or we are given a way to make Rescue not work on us.

I was Rescused as a tank in Sirensong because I didn't pull the Coffinmaker pack by an AST.
(I was kinda undergeared and nervous.) Literally had 3% of health because I had to scramble from the unexpected pull.
I should of reported them by forcing me to pull more mobs than I wanted to.
But I dunno if it's reportable...what would that even fall under?
But yes, don't do that again, please...Only to friends like others said.

That said, Rescue should be removed because of crap like this.
That and it is rarely used. It's only good in PvP.

I sincerely doubt that's something any GM would give even a bit of notice to, even if he really did report you. Don't worry about it, you probably just caught someone having a bad day or something.

I don't usually have room for rescue on my bar, but when I do I will occasionally use it to troll party members in DF, and I've never had anyone react with anything other than amusement (Or that one time the bard was all 'WHEEEE, DO IT AGAIN!!!1' XD). As long as you're not doing it like every time the CD runs out, most people will have a sense of humor about these things.
