My money's on Ashura (Namazu) and Anima from FFX (Qiqirn).

I'm sure we'll have another super boss fight as trial inbetween tied to the story.

I forgot all about the evil Qiqirn tribe. I definitely think we'll get primals from them and the Namazu, as well as the inevitable Shinryu EX.

They set up a rematch with Yojimbo pretty hard at the end of Kugane Castle. He'll definitely return in some form, most likely as a trial.

Doomtrain was actually mentioned by name in a 2.X cutscene. It's a Garlean train that goes between the Castrums.

While there are definitely still beast tribes left who haven't summoned primals, SE doesn't necessarily have to use them to introduce new primals. There's precedent for "natural" primals in the game. Odin doesn't have any known ties to any existing beast tribe or peoples.

It was established in 2.0 that there's a phantom(in this case meaning hidden) train that runs between Castrums Oriens and Meridianum, and is capable of moving an entire army at once. The Eorzean Alliance blockaded the tracks so that we wouldn't be overrun by reinforcements during our attack on the latter.

Goblins did summon Alexander. And Tonberry aren't bestmean, they're cursed men. They have no deity, just hatred until you lvl up an SCH.

You mean like how the real Shiva was just an elezen that got eaten by Hraesvalgr? Or how the real King Moggle Mog was just a normal moogle? It's the summoners' perception that matters, not the reality.

Yup, it's all about cognition. And keep in mind that those summoned aren't REAL anyway. It can be anything you have in mind and you just put a name on it. So far beast tribes just put the name of their deity on what they summon, just like Shinryu; it has no beast tribe, no name, so we chose something for him that would correspond. But basically none of them has a name as long as it has never been summoned.

Goblins did summon Alexander.

Watch all the cutscenes from the Alexander questline. The goblins found Alexander. It was originally summoned by someone else.
