A Belias-egi showed up during the SMN quests, but I think he's the only past summon that's referenced at all. It's possible that they'll bring in Susano-o's siblings, like Ameterasu, or the four holy beasts, which are featured prominently on the world map around Hingashi, but it's entirely conjecture because we don't have any strong leads.

Heavensward had 6 Primals. Bismark, Ravana, KoTR, and then the warring triad with Sephirot, Sophia, and Zurvan.

Still, I doubt we'll be seeing more Primals in future SB patches - we do have two new raids coming up though (FFIII's Forbidden Land Eureka and an FFXII/FFT Ivalice-themed one) so anything is possible in those really.

The fight didn't really allude to him being a primal, and his presentation there makes that seem... unlikely. Had it played out a bit differently, I could have seen him as another Odin, but not so much now.
Could still be a trial, but not really a primal in my eyes...

Another thought that I've had though, is bringing back an old primal in a new form. Not as in the Normal->Hard->Ex manner, that is, but an entirely new encounter.
We know that the form a primal takes is based on the beliefs of those that summon it, so it would be interesting seeing a splinter faction of one of the tribes attempt their own summoning with an entirely different interpretation of their "God".

The Ananta even mention that the two groups we meet focus on different facets of Lakshmi, so the seeds are there (though this particular case won't likely pay off since one of the groups is the allied tribe that didn't want anything to do with primal summoning).

And Valefor is a Dragon if i remember corect.

Valefor has been mentioned in 14 but in a sidequest and nothing has come of it since. Honestly I suspect Anima if it appears will either be a voidsent or some twisted amalgam born from something like experiments on souls gone wrong. Yoshi P suggested that Doomtrain would probably be something we find in Garlemald.

Eventually, we'll be looking at all new primals made for XIV.

Though, by the time that happens, the nature of what a "primal" even is may have shifted so much that it's not going to be what it used to be any longer.
